Here’s where you can take the electric bus

The map shows route 55.

Route 55. Electric buses run in regular operations on route 55 between Chalmers/Johanneberg Science Park and Lindholmen Science Park, via Avenyn, Brunnsparken and Götaälvbron. At Teknikgatan, Lindholmen you can take the electric bus from Gothenburg’s first indoor bus stop. The electric buses run quietly and free from exhaust gases, powered by 100 % renewable electricity. Route 55 is part of Västtrafik’s regular service and it operates with the same ticketing system as the rest of the city’s public transport network. The timetable can be found on the Västtrafik website

Route EL16. New electric articulated buses are also included in ElectriCity and they are tested on line EL16, which is part of Västtrafik's line 16. Morning and evening they run between Eriksbergstorget and Nordstan. Daytime they also run between and Eriksbergstorget and Sahlgrenska. Along the line, two new stops have been built and two existing stops at Eriksbergstorget and Lindholmen have been given new weather protection. Västtrafik's regular tickets apply to the powered buses, but since they are prototypes, traffic will take place outside the regular timetable.
